A little history of how we created this kit
Our customer was tasked with making fender flares for his car with wider wheels. At that time, we made all our kits by hand. For the manufacture of the master model, we used sculptural clay. Having brought the form to the desired result, we removed the matrix. This matrix was rough, we made the first product from it, tried it on, checked the evenness of surfaces, symmetry, and then made a finishing matrix.
And later, the finished product was obtained from this matrix. From these matrices we produce products to this day.
Also here you can see photos of the process of cutting the front and rear fenders to freely accommodate wide wheels.
1- mark the cutting line according to the instructions
2- cut off the outer metal, leaving the inner sheet with a margin of 2-3 cm. This is necessary so that we can bend the inner sheet to the outer.
3- make the fastening by welding
4- we clean
5- cover with acid soil
6- we smear with a seam sealant
7- cover with anti-gravel coating
After that, you can prepare holes for attaching expanders. Mark all holes, drill with a small drill, try on.
We drill a hole for the rivet, coat it with epoxy primer. repeat the procedure for all holes. We install.
